Massachusetts Yearlings will have a reason to smile this Halloween as they open boodle boxes filled with assortment of candies and chocolates packed neatly by members of WPPC-MA who gathered in Westborough, MA, this past Saturday, October 22, 2011.
The packages are expected to arrive in the barracks on a weekend prior to Halloween. While Club members enjoyed meeting and sharing time with each other, the highlight was a presentation given by our guest speaker, Mr. Joe Mastroiani ’64 on the differences at West Point over the last 50 years, e.g., the term “Yearling” was used for second year Cadets rather than the term “Yuk” that is used today.
Thank you all for volunteering your time, candy, and/or making donations. A special thank you to Mr. Joe Mastriani for speaking and Ms. Susan Kimball (John “Jake” English ’14) for delivering the boxes next weekend.
